The Portland metro area woke up to a blanket of snow today. It was the most snow I saw in the metro area since I moved here almost 6 years ago. Some places saw between 3-5" of snow. It was too dangerous to go out to the city and take pics, so I only have pics from around my apartment. Enjoy!

Trying to beat the cold weather before Winter starts, some friends and I went on a day hike at a newly opened trail by the Columbia River dividing Oregon and Washington. It was chilly and windy! By the edge of the cliffs, the winds must have been 40-60 mph - it felt like I was in the middle of a typhoon!

We celebrated Halloween weekend at Roberto's Uncle's barn out in the middle of nowhere (actually somewhere NW of Salem). It was wild. It was fun. It was CRAZY!

Bunch of friends and I celebrated Labor Day by going on a day hike at Silver Falls, located East of Salem, OR. Since it was the end of Summer, the falls
weren't as runny as Spring time, but it was still beautiful and we all had a great time. |

An old college friend and I spent the day at a Guam Fiesta (sorry no pictures available) and at the Colombia Gorge near The Dalles, OR. We then met up
with other friends later that night for some karaoke! Good times. |
